Fun little recreational pool and exercise facility. Unfortunate that they build swim lanes that aren't 25m. Really difficult to fathom the design choices that go thru so many people that would have little impact on the overall budget, but ultimately reduce the usefulness of a pool. I understand the recreational nature of the design, but eliminating that facet seems like a dropped ball.

Warmest Indoor pool in Ottawa for Me and there's Sauna and a little hot tub. Best for families. >0-17 years old swims for FREE every Saturday (Until Dec 30, 2023) >Children(3-12 years old) Swims for free every Friday Evening(7-8 PM) >FREE Accessible (For patrons with long-term disabilities/handicaps) swimming every Wednesday (3-3:50 PM)

Camps are great and my son loves going to Dovercourt. in the past five years, my son's camps are never where the emails indicate they are. Every single time, I have to walk around to find it. This time, not under a white tent as indicated. Merely a sign stuck in the ground no where near the white tents. Drop off this morning had us walk to the opposite corner of the property to drop off (i guess because it had rained overnight). I have an accessible parking pass so generally need to be able to park close to the drop off point. This fact seems lost on Dovercourt management.

If you enjoy teenagers yelling at your children with no respect for whether their interactions are appropriate for the age of the child they're interacting with, this is the place for you! Nice enough playground and facilities if you are not forced to interact with the teenage staff who only seem to care about chatting until their shift is over and they are no longer obligated to interact with you.

My daughter’s first swimming lessons were here. While I don’t have anything to compare it to, I’ve heard stories of other pools and it sounds like a crazy mess! The swimming lessons are staggered which allows for only half the people to change out at a time. I thought it worked like a well oiled machine. Emily was great with my little one. The only thing is I wish they had a few minutes at the end of a session for feedback for the parents. It was done, and that was that. We look forward to the next round though!
